SCENE ONE

(The pastor stood up and mount the pulpit)

Pastor: Marriage is an honorable thing and it is an insitution established by God himself. Brethren Just as the scriptures says in the book of Proverb 18:22 that "whoso findth a wife find a good thing and obtain Favour from God" and our brother,  Joshua Emmanuel has obtain Favour in the sight of the almighty as he will be joined together with our Sister Johnson Benedicta, can we all rise on our feet as they enter. Choir!

(The Bride and the Groom entered with a dance as the choir is singing).

(The minister continues). Without taking much of our time because of other activities that will still take place today. I implore the Bride and the Groom to face the altar.

(After taking the marriage vow)

Before we proceed in the joining, if there is anybody here that have any reason that this two be joined together as one to speak now or remain silent forever.

(The bride looking so perplex and uncomfortable; a man raised up his hand and the Bride fainted, the best lady and the Groom run to assist her)

Accuser 1: Man of God sir , this marriage can not and will not conrinue, this two cannot be joined together........

(Another lady i.e accuser 2 stood up in the congregation and joined them in front )

Accuser 2: Yes pastor, this marriage no fit hold ooo.

Pastor: Young man, who are you and what is the reason why you said they can not be joined together.

Accuser 1: Pastor, this young lady that is there (as she point at her) is mine, I know so much, she is a fornicator, a liar, a thief and even a murderer, she's not worthy to be married with this innocent man....

Accuser 2: Pastor, Benedicta na my best friend back then wey we gather dey school, infact she be my roommate, na every weekend some guys and lecturers dey carry us go different different hotel, we dey sleep with them for moni, as you see am so, she con abort countless belle so teh en womb son damage, nah empty container you dey see so....

Accuser 1: (He turn to the Groom) so gentle man with all this things are you still ready to marry this lady.

Groom: Yes I will marry her, I know that this lady here has committed many atrocities in the past she confessed everything to me, and I have forgiven her and want to marry her.

Accuser 1: Do you remember what Romans 3:23 says the Bible says, "for all have sinned and come short the glory of God" this lady did not deserve your glorious home.

Groom : young man, the next verse of that passage says we have been justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Accuser 2: I know say you sabi Bible walla, make I remind you wetin Romans 6:23 talk, e say "the wages of sin is death " (they chorus it together)

Groom: Young lady I can perceive that you lack Biblical knowledge because it is written in the last part of that verse that "... the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ"

Accuser 1: But the book of John 8:44 says she of her father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie. This lady does not belong to you, she's a murderer and a liar, leave her for the rightful owner.

Groom: Romans 9:15 I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corin 5:17). I know that in the past she did not get it right and it was yours, but now, the Bride price has been paid and she's now mine.

Pastor: Orderlyness in the house of the Lord, enough of this drama, young man, I know who you are, you are the one that Rev. 12:10 is referring to as the accuser of the brethren, I know judgment of this woman is true because of her pass, but the truth is he has found mercy in the sight of Brother Emmanuel, and as the Lord almighty is merciful and as it is written in the book of Zechariah 7:9 by the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: so the mercy will prevail over judgment. Brother Emmanuel has paid the price and has settled everything to marry  Sister Benedicta, and just as it is written in the book of Zechariah 3:1-2 when Joshua stand with the angel of the Lord and Satan also stood with him at the right hand to resist him, and the Lord rebuke Satan even the Lord that has chosen Jerusalem, and so I rebuke you both because you did not belong here you the accuser of God's brethren.

(And they both left and the pastor turn to the lady)

And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven (Luke 7:48), always remember 1 Corinthians 6:20 that you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's(own), and you must present your body unto God as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to him.

(They took the marriage oath )

‘I, (name), take you, (name)

to be my wife/husband,

to have and to hold

from this day forward;

for better,

for richer,

in health,

to love and to cherish,

till the end of my life

according to God’s holy law.

(They exchange ring and they hug themselves the pastor faced the congregation)

This is the marriage of the lamb, the groom is our lord Jesus Christ, the Bride is the Church, and the pastor is the God almighty, I don't know if you are here and you still have some hidden sins that you are hidden from your dear husband Jesus Christ, though Satan might have been accusing you over time that you can not be forgiven come to Christ today, come to the altar with him, he has paid your bride price, come to the altar let him put the ring of Holy Spirit in your hands as he said in Ephesians 1:13 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise" come to the altar and let him seal you. There is a mercy that superceed judgment, come to Jesus, remember the ten virgin, how prepared are you for the bride, be wise by coming to Jesus.

There is one beautiful thing no one want to miss in any marriage, "the reception " a place where we dance, eat, drink and have a lot of fun. I'm glad to let you know that there is a big reception awaiting successful bride, because my Bible tells me there is continuos joy in heaven over a sinner that repent. Stop judging yourself it is Satan deception.... Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. See you at the reception!
