_"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. II Corinthians 2: 11._

*So Here Are 3 Things You Need To Do In Other To Overcome Temptations:*
*1. Prepare Yourself:* Otherwise you won't be ready when it comes. Where does temptation begin In your mind. Any defeat that shows in how you act, was first a battle lost in your mind. That's why Paul wrote in our text verse that we should not let Satan take an advantage of us don't give him an open space.

*2. Put On The Whole Armour Of God:* Ask God to help you detect Satan's advances, and fasten your belt. Follow the advice in Ephesians 6: 11 - 12: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Do you have that kind of spiritual sensitivity and strength

*3. Submit To God And Then Resist The Enemy:* If you don't, he will defeat you. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4: 7). Satan wants you to do the opposite by resisting God and submitting to him. Don?t fall into his trap.

If you're battling temptation today, stand on this promise: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need?. (Hebrews 4: 15 - 16). God will give you the grace you need to overcome temptation.

You can overcome any temptation if you will do those three things mentioned above.
