*RESTORATION TODAY*
*TUESDAY 27TH JUNE 2017*
*BY PASTOR DR. G.O. OLUTOLA JP.*
*THEME: THE JOY OF THE LORD*

_"For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills Shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands" Isaiah 55:12 *_

Paul wrote this "Rejoice in the Lord always : and again I say Rejoice (Philippians 4:4). May be you're thinking" It's easy for Paul to say he doesn't have the same problem I'm having." And you'd be right. He had a whole heap of his own.

When the he wrote those words, he was in prison with no chance of getting g out and so in that place, joy was a decision, not an reaction to circumstances. Joy is not making yourself feel good by being more mindful of what's around you. It's knowing the truth about a deeper reality that you carry the presence of God, that God is always working for your good and everyday searching out more and more about what the means

When you put all your hope in that, it's a natural consequence that it'll spill over into joy. Especially in horrible circumstance. And you will be able to say like Habakkuk 'The joy of the Lord is my strength'
