*THEME: MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE*
*_Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things ye shall never fall" 2 Peter 1 : 10_
You and I also must be living our lives in the light of eternity laying up treasures in Heaven.,pursuing the virtues symbolized by gold, silver and precious stone, not giving attention to those lesser things represented by wood, hay and straw (1Corinthians 3 : 10- 15)
Those of us who earnestly pursue godly virtues (2 Peter 1 : 5-7) will receive a superabundant reward. All believers will one day place crowns (rewards) before God's throne ad an act of homage (2 Timothy 4 : 7 - 8, Revelation 4:10).Examine yourself to see if there's any godly virtue in your life. If you see none, you can't assume you're saved.
Of you see some and it's growing, though not perfectly, you can "make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1 : 10). And you can be confident His reward will be abundantly supplied to you in eternity.
