RESTORATION TODAY
TUESDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2017
BY PASTOR DR. G.O. OLUTOLA JP.
THEME: THE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6: 7.
There are laws that govern everything we do in life. There is the law of gravity that basically says what goes up must come down.
Then there is the law of thermodynamics, which effectively says that all things are breaking down. Then there is the biblical law of sowing and reaping, which we find in Galatians 6: 7 - 8. There is a negative and a positive side to this biblical law. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap corruption. You may think you?re getting away with things, but you won't. it will come out eventually.
But you also will reap what you sowed for God's purposes. While others sowed their wild oats, you sowed spiritual seed. While others persuade fun, you pursued faith. While others pursued parties, you pursued prayer. While others pursued sexual pleasure, you pursued sexual purity. While others pursued this world, you pursued the next world. While others reap corruption, you will reap life. Sow to the Spirit, and you will reap life everlasting.
ACTION POINTS
We will reap what we have sown as followers of Jesus.
SCRIPTURE:
Galatians 6: 7 - 8.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, may I not lose my eternal reward in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, give me the grace to endure to the end in the name of Jesus
3. Lord, order my steps in Your will in the name of Jesus.
DAILY BIBLE READING:
Genesis 45
Psalm 23 & 24
Matthew 26: 3 - 30.
