RESTORATION TODAY
MONDAY 10TH OCTOBER 2016
BY PASTOR DR. G.O. OLUTOLA JP.

THEME: THINS TO AVOID IN TIMES OF CRISIS [PART 1].

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.? Acts 27:25.

Don't Flow With The Storm
Paul has been taken captive by the Roman Empire, and they're sailing him to Italy. On the way, Paul prophesies that the ship will go down in a storm. But the sailors don't listen, and so their ship quickly gets properly wrecked.

Usually we react to a crisis just like the sailors on Paul's ship: when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.? The first thing life?s storm does is to make us go where the waves carry us. We let our problems toss us back and forth. We should avoid that!

Instead of following with the storm, strengthen your grip of  FAITH: Hold fast to the hope we profess, for faithful is He that has promised, Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised (Hebrew 10:23, 35-36). Note the phrase: ?faithful is He that has promised?.

ACTION POINT: What crisis are you facing right now? Keep it in mind, write out Acts 27:25, and put your name in place of sirs.
